Hey, I’m Cody Chukwuebuka

I’ve loved technology for as long as I can remember. What started as curiosity with phones and software quickly turned into a passion for understanding how things work. Over the years, I taught myself tech, experimented endlessly, and eventually began sharing what I learned online.

In 2024, I fully stepped into tech content creation — breaking down complex ideas into simple, relatable explanations. Since then, tens of thousands of people have connected with my work, not as followers, but as a community.

Today, my goal is simple: to teach technology in a way that empowers people in real life — one clear explanation at a time.

Today, I’m still learning, still building, and still teaching — but now with purpose.

2005 – 2017

I was born in Nigeria and grew up deeply curious about technology. From as young as nine, I knew I wanted to be a science student — someone who understood computers and how technology shapes the world. That curiosity became real in 2017 when I got my first Android phone and began exploring smartphones, software, and how the internet works.

2017 – 2020

With my first smartphone, I spent countless hours watching tech videos and learning about coding, software, and digital tools. Every creator I watched felt like a future version of myself — someone I knew I could become someday. Technology wasn’t just interesting anymore; it felt like purpose.

2020 – 2022

After my WAEC exams and during the COVID era, TikTok started gaining popularity. I joined the platform and followed trends like everyone else, but deep down I knew it wasn’t aligned with who I was. I enjoyed technology — not trends — and I was still searching for my place.

2022 – 2024

Everything changed when I discovered tech creators like Kagan on TikTok — people teaching technology while everyone else was focused on entertainment. Seeing someone succeed by being different gave me clarity. By 2024, while in university, I made a personal decision: I would return to TikTok and commit fully to the tech niche — no matter how long it took to figure out.

2024 – 2025

In July 2024, I officially started my tech content journey. The early videos were rough, but teaching tech felt natural. I realized I was already helping people every day with their phones and apps — so I shared it publicly. Once I found my voice, growth followed: 10K by December, 40K by January, and 60K by February.

After my account was banned in early 2025, I restarted from scratch — this time with experience and confidence. I added creator growth tips to my content while balancing final-year university exams and projects. By the end of the year, over 60,000 people connected with my content — and I chose to call them friends, not followers. This led to the creation of my Telegram community, Friends of Cody.

In 2025, I attended my first major creator event, The Dial Podcast, hosted by prominent Nigerian tech creators. I met people I had long admired, conducted interviews, and experienced the creator ecosystem firsthand. Through a strategic 20-day content challenge supported by my community, I won my first professional camera — the Sony ZV-E10 — proving that consistency, strategy, and community truly matter.

2026 – Present

In 2026, I rebranded with a clearer mission: not just to share tech tips, but to teach how technology actually works in real life. I launched a new series, “How It Works in 90 Seconds,” breaking down complex tech concepts into simple explanations. I also expanded creatively through JustCody (behind-the-scenes & lifestyle) and 2C Visuals (editing, photography, and videography). Today, I’m still learning, building, and teaching — now with clarity and purpose.
